Native American brothers performing ‘Hallelujah’ is just what you need

‘Inka Gold’ is some of the most relaxing and enjoyable music you could ever hear. Featuring the laid-back sound of the classical guitar and the pan flute, Oscar and Santiago Morales Vega deliver a song for peace and calm.

With a majestic desert background, the two incredible musicians play an instrumental version of the famous Leonard Cohen song ‘Hallelujah.’ Oscar and Santiago are dressed in leather jackets with frays for style.

Oscar is playing the acoustic, classical guitar with a finger-picking style. Santiago joins in after the intro playing the pan flute. In the 2nd verse, Santiago plays an octave higher, and the song soars.

In the middle of the song, Oscar plays a beautiful guitar solo. His years of playing experience provide a tasteful solo break to the tune. This is a unique arrangement of the song since it features a pan flute too.

Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ has been covered by some of the most famous musicians and vocalists in the world. Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Pentatonix, and Justin Timberlake all performed their own version of the song.

The song itself was written by Canadian singer Leonard Cohen, originally released on his album’ Various Positions’ in 1984. It achieved little success until it was recorded by John Cale and later by Jeff Buckley.

It was featured in the hit animated movie ‘Shrek,’ and since then, possibly 300 various arrangements have been created. This is a fantastic instrumental duet that sets a calming mood. The brothers display musical excellence in their performance that rivals any other cover of ‘Hallelujah.’
